The University has identified 'space management, planning and change' as a key pillar of its strategic priorities for the next 5 years and is looking to identify ways to deliver greater space utilisation, improve the quality and attractiveness of its spaces and create a culture which recognises the importance and value of space.
This role is based in the Space and Sustainability team (within the VC Office) and will work with faculties and divisions across the University, in particular Campus Infrastructure and Campus Services. As well as addressing the physical space needs, the role will look at the workplace cultural strategies needed to meet our space objectives.
The ideal candidate is an individual who brings demonstrable experience in planning and delivering space programmes. You will have:
You will be able to draw on past experience and knowledge of space practices and space design, to help foster more innovative approaches to the use of spaces. You will also be used to working in small teams and using your networks to help drive projects and initiatives forward.
This is a full-time role for a fixed-term period of 12 months.
