The IRO at the VR成人视频 collaborates with colleagues internally and external partners to drive global cooperation, innovation and excellence in education, research and student experiences, strengthening the VR成人视频’s reputation and global impact. This is a key role within the IRO, supporting the Director and other team members and coordinating work across several areas to facilitate the delivery of the University's international ambitions.

This role will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the three International Partnerships Managers and the wider IRO team, contributing to the development and maintenance of global partnerships and supporting key activities such as enquiries, visit organisation and documentation. You will also ensure the smooth running of the office through duties including finance tasks, HR and recruitment support, maintaining office documentation and providing assistance to the Director of International Relations.

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week, but there may be a need to work one or two Saturdays per year to support University events.

This role will be key to strengthening our recruitment partnerships portfolio, working with colleagues from across the University, including the Associate Deans (International) and International Student Recruitment, to build a diversified network of recruitment partners.

The International Relations Office (IRO) works closely with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) and you will support the Director of International Relations in the delivery, logistics and documentation of recruitment partnerships and the related communication and coordination. Working as part of the Partnerships team you will exercise operational oversight of international recruitment partnership activities, including projects, events, and partnership management.

You will represent the International Partnerships team externally and deputise for the Director of International Relations at internal or external events, as required.

Playing a senior role in the International Relations Office you will provide advice, expertise, information, good practice and effective delivery and coordination of the VR成人视频’s internationalisation activities. You will provide strategic advice and high-quality intelligence in relation to internationalisation to the Associate Deans (Internationalisation) and other stakeholders across the University.

The ideal candidate should:

• be motivated, pro-active and resilient, with a background in recruitment partnership management 
• have a good knowledge of issues relating to the international performance of Higher Education Institutions 
• understand the geopolitical challenges and risks of working with international partners
• have experience collating and analysing qualitative and quantitative forms of information and data
