Jobs at Bath | Campus Infrastructure /jobs/Vacancies.aspx?cat=460&type=5 Latest job vacancies at Bath <![CDATA[Maintenance Assistant (CC13110)]]> /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=CC13110 /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=CC13110 The Department of Campus Infrastructure is responsible for the maintenance and development of the University's buildings, and are currently seeking to appoint a Maintenance Assistant to support the team, undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance such as general repairs and minor plumbing in accommodation buildings, and safety testing.

The University has a fantastic reputation for student experience, and the diligence and professionalism of the maintenance staff is a big part of that success!

We would like to hear from you if you:

  • have experience in some of the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, painting (qualifications are not essential)
  • are familiar with and happy to work in the built environment, able to identify and remedy a variety of maintenance tasks and keep all affected informed of the situation
  • have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake training to improve knowledge 
  • are committed to the role and able to work individually and as part of a team
  • have good problem solving, customer service and communication skills 

Further information

This role is based on the Claverton Down campus, offered on a full-time basis (36.5 hours per week) with the hours of work between 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, although some flexibility will be required by operational needs.
