Switch off your non-essential equipment and lights this winter break and help tackle the climate crisis and save money.

It is our collective responsibility to take action in response to the climate emergency. Reducing energy consumption through switching off non-essential electricals and lights across campus is a shared opportunity where we can make a real, positive impact. This simple step can save the University up to 拢13,000 over the 9-day closure.

The University is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040 and we need everyone鈥檚 help to reach this.
