The old printers and Pharos Pop-up app will be automatically removed from University-owned computers.

Removing the printers

1. From the desktop, select the ’Apple’ menu, then select ‘System Preferences’. 
2. Select ‘Printers & Scanners’.  
3. Select the printer to delete, then ‘Remove Printer’.  
4. Confirm that you want to delete the printer by selecting ’Remove Printer’.  

Removing the Pharos Pop-up app

1. From the desktop, select the ‘Go’ menu, then select ‘Computer’.
2. Select your local drive.
3. Navigate to ‘Library’ then ‘Application Support’ then ‘Pharos’ then ‘Utilities’ and select ‘Uninstaller’.
4. In the ‘Pharos Uninstaller’ window, tick ‘Pharos Pop-up’, then select ‘Continue.
5. Select ‘Continue’ again. 
6. When prompted, enter your username and password for your computer. 
7. When the uninstallation has completed, select ‘Done’.
