My Employability Profile

Accessible by all students, including undergraduates, postgraduate taught students, remote learners and students on placement, this online dashboard will sit alongside MyFuture (our Careers platform) and My Academic Success (our skills platform) and support you to access the information, resources, and events you need to build a comprehensive employability profile that employers will recognise and value.

It will help you articulate and demonstrate the skills you have developed in 13 key employability capabilities, identifying gaps you may have and suggesting resources to fill those gaps.

You can add to your dashboard at any time, and progress at your own pace. There is no deadline or limit on what you can submit to build your profile.

Bath Insights internships

Finding work experience can be a real challenge for students in years one and two as organisations often ask for prior experience and skills they may not have had a chance to develop. Bath Insights gives students in their first or second year the opportunity to gain work experience in a safe, supportive environment through working as an intern in one of a variety of departments on the university campus.

The Pop-Up Shop Programme

The goal of the Pop-Up Shop programme is to give all students the chance to run a shop in the city centre for a day. It doesn’t matter what course you’re studying, or what stage of study you’re at, the programme is open to everyone and is a fun way to get new experiences and make new friends.
